Figures are indicative guides based on current lender policy across our panel and are not an offer of credit. Your own loan size, rate and structure depend on your income, deposit, credit history and the property.
What we do
We benchmark your current rate and structure against our panel, price a repricing request with your existing lender first, and only move you when the gain is real. If nothing meaningful is available we tell you and cost you nothing.
How the numbers usually look
A rate improvement of 0.25 to 0.75 percent is common for loans that have not been reviewed in two or more years. On a $700,000 loan, 0.40 percent is roughly $2,800 a year in interest. Switching costs are usually $300 to $900 in discharge and government fees, so most viable refinances break even inside 3 to 6 months.
Timelines
A straightforward refinance normally settles in 2 to 6 weeks depending on how quickly the outgoing lender releases the discharge, and cashback or fee waiver offers change frequently so we check them at the time of application.
